Omen | Elephant Eyes Release Date

The long awaited album by dreamville artist Omen called 'Elephant Eyes' will be released on July 21th. Omen announsed the release date of the new album after dreamville dropped a unexspected trailer video on youtube on Tuesday afternoon the link is below.

The album was mean't to be released at the beginning of last year, but Omen and the Dreamville Crew joined in a record deal partnership with interscope ladel. Instead of omen's Elelpahnt eyes  project to be released dreamville record released 'Revenge of the Dreamers' the mixtape instead. 

But now the wait is over Omen has not released a project since  'A Glorious Cool' back in 2012.

So it will be amazing to hear how far he as grown as a artist since 'A Glorious Cool'.

Track of the day is from East London-based artist Barney Artist with a classic track called "Mystery" taken from is 2012 project #BAEP. what makes this track amazing is the instrumental is the relaxing feel and the jazzy melody on the piano been played on the track throughout the song which is produced by barney artist friend Alfa Mist an East London rapper and producer.Right before barney jump on the second verse you got a jay-z voice clip taken from an interview talking about how in everything we do we deliver poetry to express are self in everything you do.

Swoope | Sinema (Album)

This week I came across this album called Sinema by rapper Swoope. This is his second album from Swoope which came out last year August 4 2014. At the start of the album Swoope as a Kanye West influence at the beginning of the first track but as he's own signature instrumental sounds and flow as you go trough the album. Swoope speaks on the issue's of lust and relationship with a female called Mya which you hear her speak on left voice messages on Swoopes phone at the beginning and throughout the album.

Swoope's, at war with himself, either to get back with Mya or forget about Mya  and move on with his life and focus on his relationship with god which he speaks in detail on track's called "Right Side" featuring singer Christon Gray, "Beauty and Beast" and "Before Goodnight".

I Can relate to Swoope on the issue's of lust and  the "art seduction" like J.Cole would say. To be in a relationship with someone just for the lustful pleasures is just the wrong way to go.Swoope's gives to full picture on what's like to face conscience speak on his experience dealing with someone that don't understand your walk with god and facing the temptation's of going back to is old ways even though he knows the consequence at the end.

Kendrick Lamar | To Pimp A Butterfly (Review)

I was really surprised when the latest project by Kendrick Lamar was released a week earlier from its original release date March 23.
Social media such as Twitter was going crazy over the new album release, I had to buy the new album on Itunes yesterday morning before going out. There some real deep tracks to dwell on and to vibe such as 'king kunta' and 'Institutionalized' but my favourite track so far is 'For free?' which had that jazzy instrumental feel throughout the song and Kendrick's flow pattern was amazing.

To be honest, I liked every single song on the album. 'Mortal' and 'Momma' are also some of the many songs which I find have an interesting vibe which I constantly have on repeat. The 'Mortal' track had me in shock because I did not expect it.  When Kendrick Lamar was reading his poetry piece and interviewing  the late great Tupac Shakur, it gave me the chills because it felt like a  real conversation between the two artists when i first heard it . ` This shows how Kendrick Lamar is a true artist as he was able to create a piece that was quite unique and that was able to draw in the audience that was listening.

But so far after listening to the album quite a few times, I am starting to get the full picture of each track . I've noticed that each of the songs are cohesive to each other and when they are put together they create one message.
Each of the tracks are one part of a poem which links to the meaning behind the 'To Pimp a Butterfly'

Classic Album Of The week | Immature - Play Time Is Over |

The classic album of the week is from the 90's RnB singing group  the Immature with there first album called "Play Time Is Over" released back in 1994.


I first discovered the group in the movie classic  House Party III which features both actor and artist Kid N Play as the main characters. The immature where featured on the house party soundtrack album and featured  in the length movie.

Ever since then been listening to these guys the songs i like from "Play Time Is Over" album is "Never Lie" and "I Dont Mind" Batman also known as  Marques Houston really delivers with is vocal skills on this album but the whole album is really good to chill and relax to.

KIDD produced The Start song the beat is on point the sample sounds like from one them old black and white movies. I like BraveART lyrical and flow content over the beat that he shares throughout the track nothing but the truth.

I've been hooked on J.Cole's New album Since It Came Out last year called "2014 Forest Hill Drive" if you don't know. The new album Grew On Me Every Time I listen To It from start to finish. One of my Favorite Track on the album so far Is the Intro which leads up to the opening of  "January 28th" Which Is Track Two On the album...

The intro make me reflect on what makes me truly happy because nothing in this world can really bring you happiness or freedom.
